2003 - 2021
i grew up in a small beach town called fairhope, al. growing up i sought out for new adventures to go on with my friends. whether that be walking for hours on the low-tide beach or kayaking down the creak for dinner. all i wanted as a kid was to be happy and spend time with the people around me.
when high school came around, I entered my
'jack of all trades' era. picture this: junior varsity cross country runner, heading the drama scene as lead stage manager, calling the shots in Model UN as president, student government class officer, and being the face of the international baccalaureate class. just a dash of experience in my back pocket – because who needs a one-trick pony?

Inside the classroom, I take the role of the Chief Mood Lifter, reminding everyone that the design studio is basically our creative playground. I'm like the hype-person for individuality, cheerleading my peers to unleash their true selves, especially in their work.
I firmly believe that in the wild world of design, you're not your designs – they're more like your creative sidekicks. So, let's break out the confetti, toss some glitter on those ui designs, and remember: designing is way more fun when you're unapologetically, authentically you.

While immersed in college life at the Savannah College of Art & Design, I felt the itch to expand my worldview. Armed with a mix of determination and a carefully saved-up stash of cash, I boarded a plane to South Korea — all by myself. Why? Well, I was on a mission to spice up my summer with a healthy dose of linguistic exploration and new cultural experiences.
No travel buddies, no problem – just me, a suitcase full of curiosity, and a one-way ticket to a Korean adventure. Spoiler alert: it turned out to be a season of solo exploration, new friendships, and a crash course in embracing the unknown. Because when life hands you the opportunity to venture into the unknown, you grab it with both hands and say, 'Hello, Seoul!’
